Three enclosures with directional shadows • 1990-2014
These three images are simulations of a wall piece which consists of three enclosures lit from the compas positions of North, East, South and West. Each of the three pieces occupy a space of 1 mtr x 1 mtr. The minimalist nature of the images emphasises the protrusionist illusion of the forms against the vertical wall surface.
The original images originated in 1999 a version was shown in the exhibition ‘design or art’ in Barcelona, Spain that year.
